Fennex Joins Shortlist for “Innovation of the Year” at the 2022 Elevator Awards
The team attended the awards ceremony to celebrate business success within Aberdeen.
On Thursday 23rd of June, the Fennex team was delighted to attend the 2022 Elevator Awards, which hosted an array of other independent businesses within Scotland, all joining together to acknowledge and celebrate the successes and innovations which their work has brought to Aberdeen and beyond.
The awards, which have been taking place for the past twenty years, enable businesses to network, celebrate and encourage others within business and entrepreneurial circles to continue to strive to bring their ideas and visions to fruition.

As a social enterprise which seeks to ensure entrepreneurship and businesses are supported within Scotland via the delivery of support and accelerator programmes and events, Elevator provided another fantastic opportunity for local businesses during the awards night for those within independent businesses to connect and showcases their accomplishments in a supportive and engaging environment.
The night showcased various figures who each had made substantial contributions to their industries via short promotional videos which shared the vision and accomplishments of their company. The event was comprised of nine award categories, each shortlisting three independent business nominees all deserving of recognition for their efforts and achievements.
The awards categories included; New Start of the Year, Business Success Under 5 Years, Business Success Over 5 Years, Innovation of the Year, Community Impact Award, Net Zero Technology Award, Entrepreneurial Supporter of the Year, Spirit of Enterprise and Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year.
Fennex was delighted to have been a shortlisted finalist for the Innovation of the Year category, alongside Recycl8 and the winner of the category this year, MyGo4Ward Ltd. Fennex would like to congratulate MyGo4Ward Ltd, an Elgin-based company who are utilising technology in order to give those with neurological disabilities and spinal cord injuries the ability to regain mobility. The event has provided many inspiring new insights and perspectives from other independent businesses, highlighting the exciting innovations occurring within Scotland this year. The Fennex team had a wonderful time and would like to thank Elevator for organising an entertaining and highly important night for the independent businesses who attended and for our nomination, which we are very proud of!
